	In 1997 my husband Dana and I along with our 4 sons and 1 daughter found our perfect home. It is a 1790 Farm house, beautifully restored. It has rolling fields and mountain views and is the perfect spot for a dream, The Chickadee’s Nest.
We went right to work, starting from seed, and planted fourteen 70 ft. rows. We grew herbs and flowers with a vengeance all summer. We dried them in our large attic, that was ideal for drying. We experimented and created many herbal items. Local craft fairs proved very successful . Our business is off to a booming start!

In October, 1999 we built a breathtaking shop at our house to display our fine products. We are open year round. We also have greenhouses open in the springtime and specialize in rare herbs and perennials. Make us a part of your vacation in Maine we have something for every season!
